Tenable Holdings: three directors named with cybersecurity expertise
Tenable Holdings' 2026 proxy names directors Niloofar Razi Howe, George Alexander Tosheff and Co-CEO Mark Thurmond with cybersecurity expertise.
Tenable Holdings' proxy statement for its 2026 annual meeting, filed April 2, 2026, names three directors with cybersecurity expertise: Niloofar Razi Howe, George Alexander Tosheff, and Co-Chief Executive Officer Mark Thurmond.
Howe, a director since May 2021, is qualified "based on her extensive cybersecurity and management experience," per the filing. She is currently President of the Stratham Group, an alternative asset management firm, and an Operating Partner at Capitol Meridian Partners; she previously was a Senior Operating Partner at Energy Impact Partners.
Tosheff, a director since September 2022, is qualified "based on his extensive cybersecurity expertise and management experience." He is now a Venture Partner at Syn Ventures and previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer at VMware (2014 to 2024, later part of Broadcom), and sat on Tenable's own Customer Advisory Board before joining its board.
Thurmond, Tenable's Co-CEO and a director since May 2025, is credited with "extensive operational experience in the cybersecurity and cloud industries." He was Tenable's COO from 2020 to 2025 and earlier held sales and operations leadership roles at Turbonomic, Qlik Technologies and Dell EMC's VCE and RSA divisions.
A fourth director, Chairman Arthur W. Coviello, Jr., is credited with extensive experience in the security industry and management — close to, but not explicitly naming, cybersecurity, so he is not counted here. No SEC rule requires any of these disclosures: a 2022 proposal to add Item 407(j) of Regulation S-K was dropped from the SEC's final 2023 cybersecurity-disclosure rule.
