Corrections and removal

If a profile is wrong, out of date, or about you and you would rather it did not exist, tell us.

How to make a request

Until this site’s own inbox opens, requests go through the CISO Tribune editorial desk, which answers for every site in the network. Use the CISO Tribune tips and corrections form, name the profile (its web address is best), and say what should change. If you can, include a public source that shows the correct information.

Corrections

We check each correction request against sources. When a fact changes, we fix it on the page, add a dated note to that page saying what changed, and list the change here. We do not quietly rewrite profiles.

Removal policy

The person profiled can ask for their profile to be removed, for any reason or none. We honor removal requests within 72 hours. The one exception is information that is part of a regulated public disclosure, such as a company’s securities filing naming its security officer; that information can stay, but we will still remove everything else on request. We may ask for reasonable confirmation that the request comes from the person concerned.
