F5's 10-K reports a CISO transition inside the company rather than a departure to an outside employer, with an interim appointment covering the gap.

"In September 2024, our current CISO began transitioning to a new role within the Company, and as a result, we have appointed an interim CISO while we conduct a search for his permanent replacement," the filing states.

The filing describes the interim CISO as having more than 25 years of experience in technology and information-security operations across a range of business sectors, and as having previously served as CISO of two other publicly traded technology companies before joining F5. F5's 10-K does not name either the outgoing or the interim CISO, or say what role the outgoing CISO moved into.
