Jason Lord is the Chief Information Security Officer of AutoRABIT, appointed in 2024.
Career path
Lord is a Marine Corps veteran whose assignments included protecting White House operations and redesigning secure site networks and facilities for all 54 U.S. National Guard sites following the September 11th terror attacks.
He later served as Technical Director at Symantec Corporation and as Senior Director, Cybersecurity Services at AccessData.
Lord went on to serve as Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Threat Intelligence at the White House under President Obama, and as Principal Security Technologist for Bridgewater Associates, which the company describes as the world's largest hedge fund.
Lord served as Chief Information Security Officer Partner at Fortium Partners, where he counseled C-suite leaders, business unit executives, and investors on technology and security matters.
Lord joined AutoRABIT, which builds Salesforce DevSecOps tools, as Chief Information Security Officer.

Lord's work draws on more than 25 years managing enterprise security risk and developing programs across cybersecurity operations, cloud security, cyber intelligence, insider threat, incident response, and penetration testing. At AutoRABIT, he is positioned to support the refinement of existing products, track emerging data security threats, and guide future security decisions. He serves as a thought leader internally, providing guidance intended to drive data security discussions, and externally contributes to webinars, ebooks, and event presentations on security insights and strategies.
Public engagement and credentials
Lord holds an appointment to the Amazon AWS CISO Council. He holds degrees from Tulane University and Santa Clara University. Outside of his security work, Lord cohosts the Unapologetic Security Podcast with Christopher Kennedy, discussing emerging trends and practices in data security.
