Keith Anderson is the Chief Information Security Officer of JetBlue, appointed in March 2023.

Career path

Anderson previously held security leadership roles at AT&T, Goldman Sachs, Citi and Turner.

He served as Chief Information Security Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery before moving to JetBlue.

Security Magazine reported his appointment as JetBlue's Chief Information Security Officer on March 6, 2023, noting more than 15 years of security experience.

Anderson formally joined JetBlue on a Wednesday, a company spokesperson told Cybersecurity Dive.

In the role, Anderson reports to Carol Clements, JetBlue's chief digital and technology officer.

Remit at JetBlue

Anderson oversees JetBlue's information security program to help ensure the company's data, systems and other digital assets remain protected.

His responsibilities include the strategies, policies and procedures designed to minimize information security risk and to proactively detect and address new threats facing the airline.

Anderson joined JetBlue during a period when the airline's proposed merger with Spirit Airlines and its alliance with American Airlines remained under regulatory scrutiny, according to Cybersecurity Dive.

Clements said that the safety and security of the airline is the company's top priority, applying to all aspects of the business including its information, applications and data.

On joining JetBlue, Anderson said he "was drawn to JetBlue's values as well as its commitment to the highest standards of security, compliance, and digital transformation to protect our customers and crewmembers," Anderson said.
