Oded Blatman is Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer of Ledger, the digital-asset security company, appointed to the combined post in September 2026.
Career path
Blatman joins Ledger from Fireblocks, where he served as CIO and CISO for five years, building and leading the company's global security and enterprise technology organizations through a period of rapid international expansion, organizational transformation, and increasing operational complexity.
Before Fireblocks, Blatman served as Global CISO of Bank Hapoalim, Israel's largest bank, and as CIO and CISO of ClickSoftware, where he led security through that company's acquisition by Salesforce. Ledger's announcement puts that record in his own words: "I joined Ledger to connect product security, enterprise technology and resilience, and to help build the trust infrastructure for what comes next."
Scope of the combined role
Reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Pascal Gauthier, Blatman leads Ledger's cyber and infrastructure security, product security including the Donjon research team, physical and workplace security, security operations, enterprise risk management including supplier assurance, and internal IT covering company assets, business applications and IT services.
Ledger frames the pairing of the CIO and CSO titles under one executive as deliberate, reflecting the company's view that information and security disciplines are inseparable as tokenization, autonomous AI agents, and institutional adoption of digital assets converge. CEO Gauthier framed the hire in similar terms, saying Blatman built and protected systems that institutions trust with billions of dollars, first at Israel's largest bank and then at Fireblocks. Founded in 2014, Ledger describes itself as the global leader in digital asset security for individuals and institutions, with more than eight million hardware signers sold in over 165 countries. The announcement does not give a start or end date for his years at ClickSoftware or Bank Hapoalim, nor does it list his education.
