Patrick Pitchappa

Patrick Pitchappa is the Chief Information Security Officer of Equiti Group, appointed in November 2025 as part of a leadership expansion tied to the firm's growing UAE operations.

Career path

Pitchappa joined Equiti with more than 28 years of international experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, and technology operations.

Before Equiti, he held senior roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Goldman Sachs, and VISA Inc.

As CISO of Equiti Group, he leads the group's cybersecurity strategy, working to ensure protection against evolving global threats while safeguarding client data and regulatory integrity.

His appointment was announced alongside that of Abdullatif Manlla as Head of Compliance and MLRO, UAE, who brings experience in compliance, governance, and AML/CFT frameworks from roles at ADS Securities and First Abu Dhabi Bank.

Equiti said the two appointments build on its long-standing commitment to robust governance, security, and responsible innovation across its global operations.
