As of December 2023, Robb Reck was named Chief Trust and Security Officer of Pax8, a role he took up that month.
In the position he reports to Scott Chasin, Chief Technology Officer at Pax8, and is responsible for maintaining the trust of managed service providers, vendors and customers by advancing the security measures of the Pax8 Marketplace.

Career path
Reck served as Chief Information Security Officer at Ping Identity from the company's venture-capital period through its initial public offering, a tenure ISSA describes as more than five years.
Before Ping Identity, he led security for Pulte Financial Services, D+H and Aurora Bank FSB, holding the title of Vice President and CISO at Pulte Financial Services.
He then became Chief Trust Officer at Red Canary, a managed detection and response provider, where he was responsible for security, IT, privacy and enterprise risk.
A SecureWorld contributor biography also lists him as Field CISO for Red Canary.
Pax8 announced his appointment as Chief Trust and Security Officer on December 5, 2023, citing his prior work securing enterprises in the financial services, banking and software sectors.
Community work and public speaking
In 2017 Reck cofounded Colorado = Security, a community that serves more than 2,500 information security professionals in Colorado, and he co-hosts its podcast.
He has also served as President of the Denver chapter of ISSA.

Reck holds an MBA and the CISSP certification.
