Warren Bailey

Career path

Bailey's technology career began with engineering roles at Granitar, where he worked as a senior software engineer, and at Gryphon Networks, where he served as a software architect.

He went on to spend thirteen years as Chief Technology Officer of PG Calc, a planned giving software and services firm that has helped charities and nonprofits achieve planned giving success for nearly 40 years, where he helped strengthen the company's cybersecurity policies and procedures as it grew through partnerships with large financial institutions.

Foundation Source acquired PG Calc in February 2024, expanding its suite of charitable giving solutions to include planned giving software and services.

Following that acquisition, Foundation Source's newsroom recorded the appointment of Bailey to the newly created Chief Information Security Officer role on April 16, 2024, with Bailey reporting to Chief Technology Officer Pascal Vincent.

Remit and background

Foundation Source brought Bailey into the role to expand upon its existing security and risk management programs at a time the company described as pivotal growth, drawing on more than 25 years of experience in technology, software development and process design.

At PG Calc, Bailey continues to manage the Product Development team.

Foundation Source describes itself as supporting more than 4,000 charitable organizations and administering more than $22 billion in foundation assets.

On taking up the Foundation Source role, Bailey said, "Strengthening cybersecurity and minimizing cyber risk is more vital than ever, and we will explore new frameworks, safeguards and practices to continue protecting the data under our care."

Education

Bailey earned a BA in music from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and an MS in Information Technology from Bentley College, and he is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
