Mathieu Rigotto is the chief information security officer of Filigran, appointed in September 2026.
Career path
Before joining Filigran, Rigotto led the cybersecurity business at IMS Networks. He also served as general manager of Cyblex Technologies, where he oversaw the development and commercialization of cybersecurity technology. He held security leadership roles at Free2move, a Stellantis subsidiary, before moving to Filigran. Filigran, a cybersecurity company founded in 2022, offers open-source, AI-powered solutions covering end-to-end threat intelligence management, attack simulation and security posture validation. The company named Rigotto CISO as part of a leadership expansion that also added Tim Durkee as senior vice president of sales for the Americas, following record revenue and the company's Great Place to Work certification in the United States, France and Australia. Durkee joined after serving as chief revenue officer at Finite State, having previously held sales leadership roles at Brinqa and Planview. The appointments were described as coming amid rapid international growth following record revenue and platform expansion. Filigran said it continues to hire across the organization as it builds out its team.
Remit at Filigran
At Filigran, Rigotto will oversee the company's information security strategy as it continues to scale its platform, team and global operations. The company said he brings extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership and security operations to the position. Describing his approach to the role, Rigotto said, "Very few can tell you what an attacker could actually reach, which of those exposures matter most, or whether that's still true a month later," adding that his job is to hold the company to the same standard it helps customers meet.
Company context
Around the time of his appointment, Filigran published a guide on women's paths into cyber threat intelligence, covering 16 contributors' routes into the field from marketing and motorsport to mentorship and AI. The company also announced a partnership with SEK to embed its OpenCTI and OpenAEV platforms into managed security services across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru. It separately added Attack Chaining to OpenAEV, letting teams simulate multi-step attack paths and automate penetration testing and red teaming.
