Alexander Truskovsky is the Chief Information Security Officer of EigenQ, appointed in July 2026.
Career path
Earlier in his career, Truskovsky built enterprise software systems at Oracle.
He then provided technical leadership on core security protocols and platform features at BlackBerry.
He went on to become Director, Technical Strategy at ISARA Corporation, where he was responsible for the company's technical strategy and helped commercialize post-quantum cryptography.
He also advanced quantum-safe key distribution initiatives at Nokia and contributed to the growth of Amazon's AWS Private Certificate Authority service.
At EigenQ, he served as Vice President of Cryptography before his promotion to the newly established CISO position in July 2026.
In the CISO role, Truskovsky leads EigenQ's information security strategy, cybersecurity governance, security architecture and risk management, and continues to integrate security and compliance across the company's products, solutions and operations.
He also continues to provide input on product design, product security, customer requirements and product-market fit.
"In my new role, I look forward to strengthening EigenQ's technology platform, advancing our cybersecurity strategy and intellectual property, expanding relationships with customers and strategic partners, and ensuring security remains at the core of every product we deliver," Truskovsky said.
Standards work and credentials
Truskovsky has contributed to global standards development through the International Telecommunication Union, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, Accredited Standards Committee X9, and the Connectivity Standards Alliance.
He holds a master's degree in computer science from Concordia University with a focus on applied cryptography and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
He also holds a CISSP designation.
He is named as an inventor on more than 20 patents in security protocols.
