He brought more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, software development, architecture consulting, and digital transformation to the role.

He has also discussed ABBYY's approach to balancing AI hype and real value in a piece for MIT's blog.

In September 2026, Peddy joined Erika Dean, CISO at Tricentis, on the InformationWeek Podcast to discuss how artificial intelligence can fit into a layered security strategy and its effect on alert fatigue in security operations centers.

During the same episode, Peddy and Dean took part in the Questionable Ideas tabletop exercise, testing their resilience strategies against a set of fictional threats.
