Career path

Tetto has been with Eversource Energy since 2019. He first served as OT Cybersecurity Manager at the company. He went on to become Director of Information Security, a post in which he led the IT and OT Cybersecurity teams responsible for keeping Eversource's most critical systems secure and compliant.
In that role he was presented at the New Hampshire Department of Energy's Microgrid Investigative Project, Stakeholder Session IV, held August 19, 2025, as the Director of Information Security at Eversource Energy. In March 2026 he moved into the CISO position at the company.

Background and expertise

Tetto has more than 25 years of IT security experience across audit, compliance and cybersecurity work in highly regulated industries. In 2022 he took part in the U.S. Department of Energy's OT Defender Fellowship Program. That program is described as having fostered his focus on solving the challenges of securing operational technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut. He has also taught cybersecurity courses at Central Connecticut State University.

His alma mater's reporting

The University of Connecticut, where Tetto earned his degree, has an affiliated foundation that files annual reports to the State of Connecticut.
The University of Connecticut Foundation's 2019 and 2020 filings were each submitted in accordance with state public-act requirements covering the institution's governance and finances.
The foundation's 2020 filing recorded assets including cash and cash equivalents, pledges receivable, and both operating and endowment investments. These filings also listed the foundation's officers and board representatives, including a faculty representative and a student representative, alongside the university's president and chief financial officer.

Remit at Eversource

As Director of Information Security, Tetto's teams covered both IT and operational technology cybersecurity across the utility's critical systems. His background spanning audit, compliance and cybersecurity in regulated sectors carries into his current responsibility for security at Eversource.
