Andrew Park is the Chief Information Security Officer of UltraViolet Cyber, appointed in August 2026.
Career path
Park's career began as a Unix systems administrator in the mid-1990s, and he spent close to two decades in Unix administration and automation before adding scripting, programming, DevOps, and cloud skills.
He then spent four years at Amazon Web Services as a cloud infrastructure architect, solutions architect, and cloud security consultant, advising enterprise customers on secure cloud adoption.
He went on to serve as Chief Information Security Officer at Bitbuy and WonderFi, a tenure described elsewhere as five years leading security for a Canadian crypto exchange, where he built the security program from near-zero maturity into a continuously improving practice.
UltraViolet Cyber named him its Chief Information Security Officer in August 2026.
UltraViolet Cyber describes itself as a tech-enabled managed security services provider founded by practitioners from the national intelligence community, serving Global 2000 and federal government customers.
Remit at UltraViolet Cyber
Since arriving, Park has launched a Technology Steering Committee organized around standardizing, streamlining, and scaling technology, and relaunched the company's AI governance framework. He has also focused on internal community building, including visible participation in company Slack channels. His stated priorities for the following twelve months include positioning UltraViolet as a voice in AI security, helping transition the company's Solstice offering to a more consumable model, and helping the industry think through securing AI agents, developers, executives, and boards rather than only endpoints and networks. He is also pushing the company to invest in AI-versus-AI defense rather than relying solely on human-in-the-loop response, reasoning drawn from seeing attackers automate full attack chains at the exchange he previously secured. On security culture, Park has said, "It's unbelievable how much security you can achieve just by talking at the right level."
Teaching and credentials
Outside UltraViolet, Park is three years into an adjunct role teaching Cloud Computing and Cloud Security at Humber College in Toronto.
He holds a CISSP, an AWS Certified Security Specialty certification, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
