Dror Hevlin is the Chief Information Security Officer of Cynomi, appointed in January 2025.
Career path
Hevlin spent 15 years in elite Israeli Defense Forces units, including the 8200 unit and Matzov, the IDF's information security unit, where he developed his foundational cybersecurity expertise.
He served as the first CISO of the Israel National Cyber Security Authority, where he oversaw IL CERT and other national cybersecurity initiatives.
He later became CISO at SolarEdge.
Hevlin then served as CISO at CyberArk, a global identity security company, where he was responsible for information security across the company's data, technology, and cybersecurity sectors.
Before joining Cynomi as CISO, he had been a member of Cynomi's CISO Board of Advisors for three years.
At Cynomi he also holds the title of field CISO.
Cynomi's year-in-review for 2025 noted that the company brought on Hevlin as Chief Information Security Officer, adding leadership experience and cybersecurity expertise to the team.
Remit at Cynomi
Hevlin is responsible for overseeing Cynomi's information security strategy, safeguarding client data, and mitigating cyber risks for the company's managed service provider and managed security service provider partners. He drives the development and implementation of Cynomi's internal and external security strategies, oversees its cybersecurity risk management practices and vCISO product methodologies, and works to align the company with evolving industry regulations and standards.

Hevlin has written opinion pieces for Infosecurity Magazine, including CISO: Choose Your Weapon, published in September 2020, and CISO - Don't Take it Personally But Make it Personal, published in December 2019. His Infosecurity Magazine profile lists him under the Physical and Information Security Convergence and Internet of Things topic areas, and identifies him as Chief Information Security Officer at SolarEdge at that time.
