Remit and public commentary
At KnowBe4, Boonyapredee leads regional customer engagement and thought leadership across APJ, focusing on helping organisations address human risk and AI-related cyber threats. His responsibilities also include industry engagement and advising on how to align security strategy with changes in workforces and technology. In an earlier interview with Information Security Media Group, he discussed quantum-resistant cryptography, use cases for quantum technology in business, and steps governments are taking to defend against post-quantum threats. He noted that quantum computing has been evolving for decades and holds immense promise, while current use cases remain limited. "The challenge is that the technology, while advancing, hasn't yet reached the level where it can address larger, more complex problems," Boonyapredee said. He added that breakthroughs in quantum technology are reported frequently and that he expects adoption to grow as advancements continue. An October 2024 profile credited him with 25 years of experience across business management, IT and security roles. By March 2026, KnowBe4 described his experience as spanning nearly 30 years across IT, cybersecurity and business leadership. He is also a regular contributor to cybersecurity publications and podcasts.
