Remit at Docusign
At Docusign, Adams has described building a centralized trust and safety team made up of security analysts, developers, and other professionals. He has overseen the rollout of an official verification email that confirms the legitimacy of forwarded Docusign messages within two hours, and the launch of an online safety center that gives customers information about current threat tactics and Docusign's response to them. Adams has said Docusign is using AI-powered tools and real-time risk scoring to get ahead of fraud attempts targeting the platform, noting, "What we saw were those targeting free trial paid plans were particularly susceptible in this space."
Talks and published work
While CISO at Zoom, Adams published Top 3 Insights I Learned at Recent Cybersecurity Events through Dark Reading in August 2023. In the same month, he discussed cybersecurity threats, workforce shortages tied to remote work, and the value of zero-trust approaches and bug bounty programs in an interview with Help Net Security. In April 2026, CIO reported that Adams, alongside Dustin Wilcox, senior VP and CISO at S&P Global, shared advice for CISOs on securing enterprises as agentic AI identities proliferate.
